Wine Tasting and Vineyard
Aude, the land of all wines
Aude has been growing grapes since the history of wine making began. The amphorae uncovered in the heart of the Narbonne region are the oldest evidence of this pursuit. From Antiquity to the present day, the history of the Aude and it's people has, for better or worse, been closely bound up with the history of the vine.
Grape growing here is a matter of geology, light stony soils which warm up quickly, carefully chosen exposures, daily nurture and methods handed down from generation to generation since Antiquity. So whether you like your wine dry or sweet, still or sparking, white, rose or red, you will always find one to match your taste. (source: Aude Pays Cathare, Quelle histoire!).
